FAQs

Q: How do I make an appointment with your practitioners?
A: You can either call us (240) 397-6771, email info@fredericknhc.com, or book an appointment online.

Q: Why do I have to have a 15 minute consult before I can become a patient?
A: Holistic health is unlike conventional medicine. There is no magic pill. It requires action on your part, such as nutritional, lifestyle, or habit changes. We are more than ok with baby steps and will meet you wherever you’re at on your health journey but Dr. Russell need to make sure that you are willing to make some kind of change and answer any questions you have about their approach.
Also, Dr. Russell has a specific focus on women’s health, so she may refer you to another practitioner outside of the center that you’d be better served by. While we want to help everyone, we realize that sometimes the best way we can help you is to send you to someone else.

Q: When should I have my intake form filled out by?
A: We request that you fill out your intake form in the ChARM Patient Portal at least 72 hours ahead of your appointment. This gives your practitioner a chance to prepare for your visit ahead of time.

Q: Do I need to bring anything to my first visit?
A: If you’re seeing one of our doctors, they prefer if you bring in your current supplements and medications so they can ensure correct dosing.  If you’ve had any recent lab work (within the last 6 months), please upload it to the ChARM Patient Portal prior to your visit.

Q: What if I have a question between visits?
A: Email with patients is not allowed due to HIPAA but you may ask brief questions through the ChARM Patient Portal.

Q: Where can I park?
A: Parking is available in front of our office suite.

Q: Do I have to buy supplements from you?
A: Of course not!  Feel free to shop around if you wish. However, we offer 10% off to our patients so it’s actually cheaper than Amazon. We use Fullscript because they supply professional grade supplements from trusted sources that are frequently checked for quality.  Anyone can sell supplements on Amazon so, for our patients’ safety, and ease of use, we love and trust Fullscript.
Any profits we do make on supplements go back into the business to help us with our efforts to expand and add more services. Rest assured that if you choose to purchase supplements through us, you are not only getting great quality at a great price, but you are supporting a small local business in your community.
